Waves Down South

The south side of Kaua’i has always been my favorite spot to go to the beach, watch the surf (or try to surf if I’m feeling brave), and get a bite to eat with family or friends. I’ve spent a lot of time watching the waves at the popular surf spot, PK’s, because my husband enjoys catching waves down there in the summer time. I am happy to get some sun, sketch, and hop in the water. We’ve also done some snorkeling there and I am happy to see turtles and all types of fish just cruising around the water below the surface.

This sunset view is what my close to a relaxing or adventurous day looks like. Either trying to get out of my comfort zone and catch a few waves with my husband or floating in the water and observing the underwater life—- it’s all wrapped up with a beautiful sunset.
